Recently opened at the end of last year, Azabudai Hills has become a new landmark for shopping and dining for Tokyo visitors. It also features Japan's new tallest building, Mori JP Tower, which dominates the Tokyo skyline. From the 33rd-floor observation deck, you can enjoy a close-up view of Tokyo Tower, and on clear days, the stunning sight of Mount Fuji at sunset. ⚠️ Entry to the observation deck requires a purchase. We took the elevator directly to the 33rd floor, where security informed us that buying a cake was necessary for entry. Other guides suggest going directly to the 34th floor, paying a 500 yen entry fee plus a minimum drink purchase of 800 yen. Buying a cake seems quite worthwhile, priced between 800-1100 yen per person, though eating on the observation deck is not allowed. Azabudai currently hosts a Christmas market, creating a festive atmosphere. The cake we bought was perfect to enjoy at the market. 📷 Photography Tips: Arrive before sunset to enjoy both the sunset and night views. If you set up your phone for time-lapse photography, security will remind you that they are not responsible for any loss.
