Meticulous Architecture of Amer Fort

I must say the 11 kilometre trip from Jaipur to Amer, Rajashtan was worth it. it was a gigantic fort with so many gates and has a lot of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Its location on a high hill makes it more majestic in the eyes of the visitors. Usully people will opt for an elephant ride to the Ganesh Gate. or some will be on foot up to the hilly place. The fort is big enough that it will take you at least two to three hours to explore it in detail. As for us, it took more because every corner is worth a snap. heheh When you are up on the fort, you will see the beautiful Maota Lake, which is the main source of water for the Amer Palace.
