[Mt. Makio/Mt. Okumakio] ⛰️ Diamond Trail

🏖️Overview: Makio Mountain is a 600m high mountain located in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, and is on the Diamond Trail. At an altitude of 485m, there is the ancient temple "Sefukuji Temple"卍, where Gyoki🧑🦲 and Kukai are said to have trained, and it is a sacred mountain🗻 with many worshippers and climbers. 💞Reasons why we recommend it: We drove🚙 and arrived at the trailhead just after 11am. I was hoping that the parking lot🅿️ would be empty at this time on a weekday⁉️, but there were lots🈵. It was a prefabricated building for a temple building? We started walking, and the entrance fee was 500 yen. Surrounded by fresh greenery🌳 and sunlight☀️, the hiking trail was well-maintained, and it was a pleasant climb. Unfortunately😢, the view was consistently🙅♂️. The summit of Okumakio Mountain⛰️ was also ✖️. The saving grace was that the hiking trail was good, and there were quite a few benches🛋️ to rest on along the way, so we had lunch there🍱.
