Cheap price but spacious

The Mercure is a low priced hotel but it's for a reason. Although not extremely far from the metro and the RER, it is still a good 15-20 min walk, which could be a stretch for someone with luggage. The hotel room itself is normal. Staff seemed a bit disinterested and not particularly helpful nor welcoming. The amenities of the room were fine and many rooms had views of the Seine. However, the room lost power for a good few hours which was the result of a tripped circuit. Finally beware as the rooms aren't really soundproofed and you can easily hear people coming and going and doors closing. #hotel #paris #travel #france
