From the summit, you can stroll along the "Oba-meguri" (crater trail) for panoramic views of the Izu Plateau, Sagami Bay, and even, on clear days, Mount Fuji and the Seven Islands. 🔥 History and Culture Mount Omuro has been a major site for fire festivals since ancient times. The annual "Yama Yama-sai" (mountain burning festival) in February sees the entire mountain set ablaze. The flames illuminate the night sky, symbolizing purification and blessings.
