Over 15,000 hydrangea bushes cascade down temple steps like waves. Come in a white dress and take photos — guaranteed to stun your Instagram followers! 📸👗 Also in season: visit the cliffside suspension bridge at Cape Kinnosaki. The crashing waves against volcanic rocks are so intense it’ll make your legs go weak — but in the best way! 🍵 April to November | Omuroyama’s Matcha Cake Hill The lush green slopes of Mt. Omuro return in late April and last until November! Take the cable car up for a 360° panoramic view of the sea and even Mt. Fuji! Across the way, visit the Cactus Zoo, where you’ll find adorable capybaras soaking in hot springs — so cute you'll want to watch them all day! 🏖 July to October | Lock in Izu’s Southern Coast! Summer means beachfront stays along the southern coast. Ride the Black Ship Train (Kurofune Densha) along the cliffs — with unobstructed ocean views crashing right into your senses! Surfers: head straight for Shirahama Beach, with its crystal-clear waves and a torii gate standing in the sea — guaranteed to get amazing photos!
