Italy is not only famous for pasta and gelato, but also for its captivating church art and historical paintings. If you visit Italy, I highly recommend going on a museum tour. One striking feature is the depiction of the Virgin Mary with a golden halo behind her head, emphasizing her sacredness. The painting of Saint Francis also left an impression with its dark tones and solemn expression. At the Bari Diocesan Museum, I was particularly impressed by the quality and significance of the old religious paintings I saw. Buying a ticket to view the exhibition was definitely worth it, and I highly recommend it.
