Alberobello, an off-the-beaten-path travel destination in Italy you can't miss🍄 This is a small town located in the province of Bari, Italy, where all the houses are white with conical roofs, resembling mushrooms, hence it is also known as the mushroom🍄 town. Against the backdrop of the blue sky, the white houses are particularly eye-catching. 🚗 About transportation Since it's a self-driving loop, we left Amalfi around 8 am and drove for over four hours to reach Alberobello. You can also take a train or bus from nearby to Alberobello train station, and it's less than a ten-minute walk to the center of the mushroom town. 🏨 About accommodation Actually, I was a bit hesitant before the trip, but after playing, I found that not arranging to stay here was a very wise choice. Our itinerary was Amalfi-Alberobello-Matera. So we didn't stay in the mushroom town that day. 🅿️ About parking There are many parking lots around, and we found one that charges per use.
