A one-day tour in Istanbul, Turkey, where humanities, history and nature meet.

In the morning, I set out from Sultanahmet Square. The sunlight shone on the ancient cobblestone road, as if I was walking into a time tunnel of the Ottoman Empire. There are many famous places of interest around the square, and the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque are across the street from each other, which is a feast for the eyes. Afterwards, we will visit one of Istanbul’s most iconic landmarks: the Blue Mosque. Its six minarets and blue tile interior are so beautiful that it is a double baptism of the soul and vision. Next, I went to Eminönü Pier to take a Bosphorus cruise, slowly moving along the Golden Horn and the Eurasian coast. Palaces and fortresses appeared before my eyes one by one, and the sea breeze made me truly feel the charm of this city's "Europe-Asia intersection". In the afternoon I walked into the bustling Grand Bazaar, a maze of more than 4,000 shops selling carpets, spices, lamps and jewelry. I negotiated with the stall owner in broken English and took away a few exotic souvenirs. At the end of a day's journey, although my feet are tired, my heart is full of attachment to and surprise for this city.
