The famous Kellie’s Castle

Address: 31000 Batu Gajah, Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. Getting there: The castle is situated near the Batu Gajah town, which is about a 30-minute drive from the famous Ipoh City. Best option is to go by car or taxi. Highlights: This is an old castle built by a Scottish Planter, and was a gift for his wife. Hence, this castle also symbolise love. However, this castle was unfinished due to the Spanish flu which spread to the construction workers at that time. Nowadays, the Kellie’s Castle is a famous tourist attraction. The tour around the castle was very fascinating as it is like a maze. There are some secret doors and passage which lead you to another part of the castle. I have spend more than 2 hours walking around the castle and taking photos! 😊 Entrance fee: RM4 for adults, RM5 for non-Malaysian.
