I had lunch at "Kuramoto Restaurant Sekinoichi," a restaurant located in the warehouse of a sake brewery founded in Iwate Prefecture in 1918. The set included Ichinoseki's festive local cuisine "mochi" and "tekiri hatto." Hatto is like sukiyaki, and you tear it yourself and put it in. It was a fun experience to do it yourself! You can enjoy mochi in a variety of flavors, including red bean paste, zunda, sesame, and salty.
