Huzhou

Huzhou has a civilization history of more than 4500 years and a city-building history of more than 2300 years. It is an important birthplace of silk, porcelain, pen, and tea culture in China, and the place with the most painters and calligraphers in China. It is also the only city in the Taihu Lake area named after a lake. In history, Huzhou was once called Gucheng, and Gucheng is a kind of vegetable. It also used the name Wucheng, and Wucheng is a kind of wine. So looking at Huzhou again, it is a small city where life is comfortable with food and wine. On the weekend, I accompanied my friends from other places to climb famous mountains and visit ancient temples. I visited several teachers who write poems, paint, make porcelain, and hold tea parties. I also went to Lucun. This is the site of the Qianshanyang culture and the source of world silk, the permanent venue of the World Rural Tourism Conference, with historical and cultural tourism resources such as ancient villages, silk, mulberry, farming, beautiful water, and ancient bridges. First, listen to Mr. Yu from the People's Pictorial to explain the scientific excavation of the Qianshanyang site and the research on Qianshanyang culture, the excavation of the earliest silk pieces in the world, and then listen to Mr. Gao from Lanshengtang to talk about Jingdezhen ceramics, and I have learned a lot. My friend said: I have seen the delicacy of Suzhou, the charm of Hangzhou, the prosperity of Shanghai, and the petty bourgeoisie of Nanjing. But in terms of experience, although Huzhou's economic strength ranks at the bottom of Zhejiang Province, the quality of life in Huzhou is something that these big cities can't match. This just confirms an ancient poem: Traveling all over the beautiful land of Jiangnan, life should only live in Huzhou.
