Minh Mang was the second king of the Nguyen Dynasty and reigned for 21 years. He is known as a great king who led the Nguyen Dynasty to its peak. He is said to be similar to King Sejong of Korea. The building seen across the lake in the photo is said to be where Minh Mang is buried, but no one knows exactly where the emperor is buried. It is a place where the gate opens only twice a year, on the 3rd day of the 12th lunar month and the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month. Dae Hong Gate - You can see the gate that opened only once when the emperor's coffin was carried in. Jeong Dae Gwang Myeong - If you cross the bridge in the middle of the lake, you will find the royal tomb that opens only once a year.
