Quanzhou Ocean World Two Days and One Night Guide

We arrived at noon and stayed in the Undersea Dream House (if you want to know more, you can read my previous note). We didn’t eat lunch and went straight to Ocean World. Basically, I watched all the performances in one afternoon. The Ocean World is very big. It is recommended to rent an electric car if you have the conditions. The first thing we watched was the Russian Circus, which was on a small hill. Performance time: two shows at 13:30 and 17:00. Reservations must be made one hour in advance. There are signs in the park to indicate the steps. No tickets are required. The whole venue is very large. There were not many people when we went because it was the off-season. The performance lasted about an hour. About half of the actors were foreigners with Russian looks. They were very dedicated. They had the usual circus performances, such as aerial swings, horse acrobatics, aerial dance, clown interactions, etc. I was quite impressed by driving a motorcycle in the round cage. In the end, there seemed to be 6 motorcycles in it. You can try to sit in the front so that the experience is better. There is a castle next to the circus, which contains some exhibits imitating those of European museums. If you don’t have enough time, you can choose not to visit it and just look at it from the outside. There is a flying theater near the circus, which is equivalent to a 4D movie. Only more than 10 people can sit in it at a time. It lasts about 10 minutes and mainly simulates the feeling of flying, skiing on the mountain, etc. With the moving seats, it will give an immersive feeling. Only children over 1.1 meters tall can enter. When we went there, there were not many sessions. They were just let in when there were enough people. There was no fixed schedule. After watching the big circus, I went to watch the dolphin and sea lion show at 3 o'clock, which also lasted about half an hour. The dolphinarium is quite large, so it's nice to walk in and sit down, especially if you bring children with you. It takes about 10 minutes. After the show, there are paid dolphin interactions, which cost 100 and 300. Because we stayed in the Undersea Dream House, we were given a 300 yuan interaction coupon to use. The interaction is actually just taking photos. You need to wear shoe covers for 300 yuan. You can take photos of the whole dolphin. There will be staff to help you take photos. After taking photos, you will leave. It is more streamlined. After the dolphin show, we watched the walrus and beluga show. The whale hall is also relatively large. You need to walk a distance to the performance venue. You can go there a little earlier. The walrus takes the funny route, and the beluga whale is also very smart. The walrus show will select an audience member to cooperate and then give a small gift. During the beluga whale show, a member of the audience will be randomly selected to interact and take photos. After the show, you can also pay to take photos, just like with dolphins. After that we went to see the underwater theater, which was a mermaid show with actors diving underwater to perform a dramatic show. It doesn’t take long, about 15 minutes. In addition, the penguin house is very nice and cute, and I stayed in it the longest. There is a fireworks show at 7 o'clock every night, which lasts about 10 minutes.
