Travel Itinerary for Huế

🌸 I visited Huế in early March, and the weather was quite pleasant during this time. Flowers were blooming everywhere, making it a perfect time to visit. Highly recommend you go! 🧳 DAY 1: - Morning: Visit Minh Mạng Tomb (The grounds are spacious and filled with beautiful scenery, so my mom and I spent the entire morning here). - Afternoon: Visit Khải Định Tomb (The architecture is stunning, but the grounds are not very large). >> Then, we went to Thiên Mụ Pagoda (There are many activities here. You should go early to catch the sunset, take photos, enjoy tofu pudding, and explore the pagoda grounds, which are adorned with beautiful flowers). - Evening: Have dinner at Chạn Restaurant (Highly recommended! My mom couldn’t stop praising the food). >> Afterward, I took my mom to rent Nhật Bình traditional attire (This place offers free hairstyling, unlike other rental shops I’ve tried before). 🧳 DAY 2: - Morning: Visit Đại Nội (The Imperial City is vast and beautiful, but walking around can be tiring. My mom and I spent the entire morning until 2 PM here). - Afternoon: Didn’t go anywhere due to the heat. - Evening: After dinner, we strolled along Trường Tiền Bridge. 🧳 DAY 3: - Morning: Visit An Định Palace (Beautiful but with a small courtyard. We couldn’t get a chance to take photos at the signature staircase due to the crowd). - Afternoon: Enjoy chè (Vietnamese sweet soup) at Chè Hẻm >> Shop for souvenirs at Đông Ba Market before heading back to Hanoi. 🚗 TRANSPORTATION: - Outbound: Flight from Hanoi to Huế (2.9 million VND for 2 people). - Return: Sleeper bus from Huế to Hanoi (600,000 VND for 2 people). 🍉 Must-Try Foods: - Bánh khoái (crispy pancake) - Bánh ép (pressed cake) - Chè (sweet soup) - Vịt lộn um bầu (duck embryo stew with gourd) - Bún bò Huế (Huế-style beef noodle soup) .. (Huế has so many delicious dishes that suit my taste perfectly. I’m absolutely in love!) 🌆 Attractions: - Minh Mạng Tomb, Tự Đức Tomb, and Đại Nội have spacious grounds. Gia Long Tomb, Khải Định Tomb, and An Định Palace are smaller. - Consider buying a combo ticket for Đại Nội + tombs (valid for 2 days) to save money. SUMMARY: 8 million VND for 2 people to visit Huế for 3 days and 3 nights. This was my second trip to Huế, and it was my mom’s first. We both loved it and can’t wait to visit Huế for the third time 🌸🌸
