Short distance trekking but requires lots of energy

This trekking course is only 40-45mins away from Huaraz town by a taxi or colectivo(sharing van). I asked an owner of accommodation to book it and it was very easy to using return transport. The entry fee for the park costs 30 peso (foreigners). The beginning of the trek is lots of steps, it is well managed pass but the altitude is high, so it won't be so easy. No rush, take it easy. After the half way through, the pass becomes very challenging, we have to grab chains rope to climb up on the steap huge rocks. This trekking requires us good physical power. It will take 2 to 2.5hrs to the lake. Also on the way back, most people pick the loopback way, it is better than using chain ropes down, but it is also not easy. I did other trekkIng, lake 69, actually that is longer but I felt easier. I recommend this lake trekking for people who want to do quIck half day challenging trekkIng.
