Today we will take you to see a new hotel in the heart of Hua Hin that is currently trending, “The Standard, Hua Hin”. This is the first The Standard hotel in Thailand and will open the second one at MahaNakhon Building, Bangkok this May. The concept of The Standard is to bring the fun, party atmosphere and the beach club vibes like The Standard Miami brought to Hua Hin Beach, making the overall atmosphere of this place emphasize a fun and bright atmosphere, suitable for inviting friends to visit and relax here together. The hotel is located in Soi Hua Hin 65, you can easily go to Hua Hin Market, shopping malls and famous restaurants in Hua Hin. There is a fair amount of parking space next to the hotel (for those who use EV cars, there are charging stations here). On the day we stayed, the parking lot was full because there were a lot of guests. But it was good that when checking in, it took less than 15 minutes. I would like to commend the staff for their good management. The rooms here are divided into 2 sections: the accommodation in the building, which are Standard / Superior / Suite rooms, and the villa section, which is divided into Canopy Villa / Standard Pool Villa and Bayside Villa, which is the most expensive room in the hotel. We booked a Canopy Villa because we wanted a room in the villa zone. And the price is not too expensive. This room is suitable because it is quite spacious, well-proportioned, and has a bathtub. Inside the hotel, there are 4 restaurants, bars, and cafes, starting from The Juice Cafe, a small cafe in front of the hotel, Lido restaurant, where in the morning we will have breakfast here (served as a buffet with a variety of food, including Thai food, dim sum, salad, and American breakfast), and there is also an all-day dining service, Praca, a beach bar that serves cocktails and various drinks at reasonable prices, and Lido bar by the swimming pool. The service of the staff, from the security guards at the parking lot, the receptionists, and the staff at the various restaurants, is very good. We think that the service here gives a feeling like coming to visit and hang out with friends more than giving the feeling of a luxurious five-star hotel where the staff must call us "you" or "sir" or something like that. Here, the staff are friendly and can give good advice. The overall atmosphere of the hotel (using very old-fashioned language, lol) gives a youthful, fun feeling, suitable for chilling out or partying with friends. Taking pictures from any angle is beautiful, very photogenic. Anyone who likes taking pictures will not be disappointed if you stay here. Highlights of the hotel that impressed us - The design of the hotel is very beautiful. Both the common areas, layouts, and interior decorations of each room look good and are beautiful for taking pictures. - The service of the staff, from the time of check-in, even though there were a lot of guests, they were able to manage well. - The location of the hotel is in the city of Hua Hin, convenient to travel. - The price of food and drinks is not too expensive (compared to hotels of this level). Even if you are not staying, you can use the hotel's restaurant and bar. If anyone is looking for accommodation in the city of Hua Hin, this is another hotel that we recommend.
