Driving from Bangkok to chill camping at "Doi Bo Luang Forest Park".

After the New Year, I intended to come camping here, and I must say I was not disappointed. The place is beautiful, the weather is great, and there are staff available 24 hours a day. The breakfast is delicious, and there is a bathroom at every campsite. There are fire pits available, and you can cook your own food, but please note that electric stoves are not allowed. For charging electronics, you must go to the office only. 🔶️ Upon arrival, please contact the staff at the office and tell them you are here to pitch a tent. They will ask you to pay 100 baht per person. If you want to reserve breakfast, you can inform the staff right away. They will give you a coupon to present when you come for breakfast. 🔶️ Once checked in, you can drive to the camping area. Choose which site you want to pitch your tent. I chose site 2 because there was still a lot of open space when I arrived. However, if you want more privacy, I recommend site 3, which is a bit further away from site 2 but still within sight. 📍Overall, it was a very good experience. Next time, I plan to try staying in a cabin for a different vibe. Information for those who want to come camping: There are 3 spacious campsites with sunset viewing spots. The maintenance fee is 100 baht per person. You can cook and have a campfire. Bring your own equipment. Open every day. ‼️Please refrain from making noise after 10 PM. There is a restaurant open from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM (pork pan, beef pan, papaya salad, fried chicken, a la carte dishes, breakfast available, not included in the accommodation fee). Visitors not staying overnight are recommended to visit during times when there are no guests (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM) for the convenience of everyone and to respect the privacy of the guests. Travel: The distance is 140 km (2.5 hours) from Chiang Mai city. Sedans, automatic cars, and motorcycles can make the trip. It's located on the main road from Chiang Mai to Mae Sariang (*drive leisurely). Public transportation: Search for "Prempracha" and choose Chiang Mai - Khun Yuam or Mae Sariang. Book round-trip tickets and get off in front of the forest park. Check-in: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Check-out: Before 11:00 AM. (If checking in outside these hours, please inform the staff in advance.)
