One of the most popular hikes in Honolulu!

KoKo Crater Railway Trailhead (or jsut the Koko Head for short) is a killer hike. It is a challenging but popular hike that’s great for a workout. It takes about one hour to complete but you may need to take several breaks on your way up since it’s quite steep. There are more than 1000 stairs which people call the stairs of doom. It leads up to an abandoned site from where you can see a panoramic view of Honolulu and see the views over Portlock Peninsula.  The views are really worth. it’s absolutely stunning, but do wear a good pair of sneakers because the stairs are old and some are broken so you need to be careful. also you will feel super proud of yourself when you make it up there! good luck! #honolulu #kokohead #hawaii #hikingtrails
