Guan Miao Xuan

Guanmiaoxuan is an exhibition hall in the "Pengying Xianguan". Its name is taken from the "Taishang Daodejing" and it will be open to the public in September 2021. 🌠Permanent exhibition: Three-color purple sand statues of the twenty-eight stars Ceramic artist Wang Xiaoli used the painted clay sculptures of the Twenty-Eight Star Gods in the Jade Emperor Temple in the city as a model, but used purple clay as the material instead. On the one hand, the finished product retains the essence and shape of the original, and on the other hand, the characteristics of the material give the work a change. The texture of the fired purple clay is simple and warm, and the ceramic artist specially used three colors to enhance the contrast. Therefore, the finished product gives a completely different feeling compared to the original painted clay sculpture. 📚Special exhibition: Taoist scriptures and cultural exhibition Taoism regards "Tao, Sutra and Master" as the three treasures. "Scriptures" are secret texts passed down by saints to the world, allowing mortals to come into contact with the "Tao".
