Indulge for three hours

The "Fat Cow Brother" incident has made the already popular Qianhai Seafood even more famous. If you want to dine here, make sure to book early. Many people think Qianhai is just about picking seafood from the tanks, but there's more to it. You can also order hot pot meats, hot dishes like halibut, roasted pigeon, and even pan-seared foie gras via QR code. The buffet area is filled with cold dishes, dim sum, vegetables, and desserts, all available in unlimited quantities. First thing, we ordered the hot pot soup bases and then grabbed a bucket to pick out seafood. We chose the Golden Soup Fish Maw Chicken Pot and the Coconut Chicken Pot. The former was rich, while the latter was light and sweet, both well-balanced. The seafood selection in the tanks was quite extensive, including giant prawns, mantis shrimp, abalone, clams, and crabs. Previously, they even had razor clams, but we didn’t see them this time. We quickly filled a bucket with a variety of seafood, handed it to the staff for cleaning, and then went to grab drinks and other food. Since the seafood is freshly caught, the quality is naturally excellent. Surprisingly, the star of the meal wasn’t the prawns but the crabs and clams, which were incredibly fresh and sweet. Next, we checked out the buffet area. The cold dishes included chicken wing tips, marinated fish skin, and pig ears. We sampled a bit of everything. The dim sum selection was small, with items like shrimp dumplings, siu mai, and xiao long bao, which were decent but not must-haves. For hot dishes, the roasted corn was perfect for kids, while the braised pork knuckles were a hit with the adults. There were also Japanese-style fried items and crayfish, though I personally didn’t find the crayfish appealing and skipped it. The food ordered via QR code arrived promptly. The hot pot meat options were plentiful, including Australian Wagyu, U.S. beef chuck, pork shoulder, and lamb slices. The quality exceeded expectations, satisfying even meat lovers. The oysters were plump and of high quality! There was also crab congee available, but I couldn’t manage to try it. I heard it was quite flavorful. The hot dishes didn’t disappoint either, with pan-seared foie gras, Chinese-style roasted pigeon, and grilled lamb racks that rivaled many Western and Chinese restaurants. Before dessert, we had some vegetables and mushrooms. The variety was impressive, with dozens of options, including purple kale, watercress, and baby bok choy. Grilled pineapple and durian were a treat, with two pieces of each satisfying our cravings. The dessert counter featured cheesecake, donuts, mochi, and crème brûlée. The ice cream section was a hit with kids, offering both popsicles and ice cream bricks, making everyone happy. Finally, the elders ordered papaya soup. Everyone, from kids to adults, left with full bellies. The three-hour all-you-can-eat lunch is indeed tempting, but remember to eat responsibly and avoid wasting food or taking it home in bags.
