A Michelin Seafood Feast in Sai Kung

On Sunday, my family and I, a group of nine, went on a day trip to Sai Kung, exploring the hills and the sea. We ended the day with dinner at Luk Fook Restaurant in Sai Kung, mainly because none of us had tried it before, and it’s a Michelin-rated establishment, so we decided to give it a shot. Stir-Fried Razor Clams with Ginger and Scallions, served with Pan-Fried Rice Noodles: Another signature dish. The razor clams must be eaten hot, and the rice noodles absorbed all the clam’s freshness. Salt and Pepper Squid: Crispy and chewy, perfect with beer! Steamed Eggplant with Garlic Vermicelli: Topped with a generous amount of garlic, it was heavenly! The eggplant wasn’t greasy and paired surprisingly well with the vermicelli. Soy Sauce King Fried Noodles: Stir-fried to perfection, not greasy at all, with a sprinkle of sesame seeds adding the finishing touch. Spicy Herbal Wine Braised Sea Snails: This dish was gone in no time, as everyone loved its spicy kick and wine aroma. Tempura Oyster Rolls with Lettuce: The batter was thin, and the oysters were plump and juicy. Paired with a bit of salad dressing and lettuce, it wasn’t heavy at all! Including beer, appetizers, sauces, tea, and other miscellaneous charges, the total bill came to around $6,500, averaging less than $750 per person.
