Ishigaki Island, Japan｜Gulangyu Cruise｜Day 2: A Day at Sea

Today is a sea cruising day, meaning we won't be docking anywhere. It's the perfect opportunity to fully enjoy the facilities and activities onboard! The Gulangyu Cruise is incredibly spacious—there's so much to explore that one day isn't enough, and there are surprises waiting to be discovered at every turn. 📑 Pre-boarding Checklist: Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, sandals, sun-protective clothing, swimwear, camera, some snacks, charger, headphones, and ideally a book to read while relaxing on the deck. 🍷 Alcohol is not allowed to be brought onboard, but the ship's bars offer a wide variety of drinks to suit every taste. Since there's no docking today, you can sleep in a bit longer in the morning. After breakfast, head to the deck to enjoy the sea breeze and join the morning exercise and dance activities. The deck on the Gulangyu Cruise is incredibly spacious, perfect for a leisurely stroll while taking in the ocean views and listening to the sound of the waves—it's truly relaxing. For lunch, indulge in a seafood feast at the buffet restaurant. The selection is vast, with sushi, oysters, desserts, and more—utterly satisfying. In the afternoon, spend some time in the library, take a dip in the pool, and even join a cocktail-making workshop onboard. Learning to mix cocktails was so much fun! The highlight of the day is in the evening! Head to the theater for performances, including musicals and acrobatics, with an amazing atmosphere. After the show, go up to the top deck to stargaze. With the sea breeze and the stunning starry sky, it feels like being in another world. Even though we spent the entire day on the ship, it was far from boring. In fact, it felt like there wasn't enough time to explore every corner. It was such a healing experience! 🥹
