Kwun Tong Hot Pot Adventure! Is the Unlimited Time All-You-Can-Eat Worth Trying?

So, my group of buddies and I were looking for food in Kwun Tong and found this dog-themed hot pot restaurant. They offer unlimited time buffet, sashimi, and limited-time new dishes. The $368 deluxe set meal seemed like a great deal, so we decided to give it a try! The restaurant is spacious, with walls full of corgi and other pet paintings, and even the hot pot stove has dog patterns. As a dog lover, I immediately gave the environment extra points! 🐾 But online reviews said the service was so-so. What was my real experience after trying it? Let me tell you item by item! 🌟 Appetizers: Upon seating, you can choose from five kinds of appetizers. The karaage fried chicken and sweet potato fries were MVPs! The fried chicken skin was crispy, and the juice flowed out when bitten. The sweet potato fries were sweet but not greasy, perfect for whetting the appetite! However, the sweet and sour fried large intestine was a bit oily, and the abalone sauce chicken feet were slightly tough, somewhat disappointing. 🌟 5-Point Sashimi Platter: Salmon, red shrimp, surf clam, amberjack, and scallops. The presentation was nice, thick-cut with a good bite. The salmon and red shrimp were fresh, sweet, and juicy, but the scallops and surf clam were rather ordinary, not very surprising, with room for improvement. 🌟 Japanese-Style Kombu Clam Hot Pot: The newly launched limited-time hot pot was truly the highlight of the night!
