This is definitely the most affordable and delicious Taiwanese restaurant in all of Hong Kong!

Happiness Canteen is located on B2 of K11 Musea, in a relatively hidden spot with simple decor. Old Angelica Half Tendon Half Meat Noodles I chose the spicy and numbing soup base, which is rich and has a strong numbing spicy flavor, quite spicy! The radish and beef tendon are soft in texture, but the beef is slightly a bit dry~ First fried then braised super fragrant pork rib braised pork rice The pork ribs are quite generous, covering the entire rice. The surface of the ribs is covered with sesame seeds, making it more fragrant than typical Taiwanese small shops’ fried ribs. The batter isn’t thick. Because it’s fried then braised, it’s more moist and crispy (not dry crispy). I guess it’s less greasy than dry crispy ribs, salty and fragrant, very tasty. The two-person set includes two main dishes, one snack, and two drinks, truly super worth it.
