Along with the steakhouse at the current Regent Hotel, one on Hong Kong Island and the other in Kowloon, they are considered the most classic steakhouses in Hong Kong. The grill marks on the steak are probably the most prominent I’ve ever seen; the exterior is thick and crispy, simple and straightforward, perfectly paired with the ideal internal doneness—flawless. This time, I had the Argentine grass-fed steak, choosing the ribeye cut. The balance of meat aroma and fat fragrance was just right, and the cooking skill was excellent, bringing out the inner flavors. Whether with simple rock salt or green pepper sauce, it highlights the quality. Besides the steak and crab cakes, the bacon is also very appealing—quite thick and tender in texture. Choosing lunch offers better value for money, but the dining time is shorter.
