This place was originally the Lei Yue Mun military fortress, now transformed into the only museum in Hong Kong dedicated to showcasing the history of the War of Resistance and sea defense. You can also see tons of military relics, full of historical atmosphere~ 📍 How to get there? Address: 175 Tung Hei Road, Shau Kei Wan (next to Lei Yue Mun Park) Transport: MTR Shau Kei Wan Station Exit B2, then take a taxi or walk about 15 minutes 🌟 Two must-see highlights 1️⃣ War of Resistance Exhibition Hall - Complete record of the Battle of Hong Kong, plus artifacts from the Japanese occupation period - Interactive screens recreating details of the 1941 battle - Rare wartime letters and military supplies 2️⃣ Century-long Sea Defense History - From Ming and Qing dynasty forts to British military fortresses - Outdoor exhibition area preserving real forts, tunnels, and ammunition depots - 360-degree viewing platform overlooking the eastern entrance of Victoria Harbour 📸 Photo spots ✔️ Lei Yue Mun military tunnel (cool and mysterious!) ✔️ Giant coastal defense gun from WWII ✔️ Seaside viewing platform overlooking the naval route ℹ️ Practical info ⏰ Opening hours: 10:00-18:00 (closed on Tuesdays) 🎫 Admission: Free!
