Wan Chai Old Indian Restaurant

Wan Chai's Lockhart Road has always been home to numerous hotels and a popular hangout for expats, so the cuisine in this area is quite international. One of the restaurants, located upstairs, is an Indian restaurant that opened in 1985. It's a long-standing Indian establishment in Wan Chai. Every time I visit, I see a lot of Indians patronizing the place, which tells me the food is authentic. This time, I ordered Peni-Puri and Punjabi Samosa for appetizers. For main courses, I chose Chicken Tikka and Lamb Vindaloo, served with warm naan bread and, of course, an ice-cold beer. There's also a wide selection of dishes from both north and south India, so it's hard to overdo it, and I never disappoint. The exotic flavors of the spices, the spiciness of the curry, and the rich, yet not-too-dry lamb are all truly memorable. This place has a bright and stylish ambiance, comfortable seating, and attentive service.
