Westport City is located in Sheung Wan and is one of the tram terminals, accessible by tram in Devon Road, less than 10 minutes walk from Sheung Wan MTR station. Westport City is the oldest existing market building in Hong Kong. It is built of red bricks. Beautiful and exquisite with granite arches and characteristic corner towers. This market was built in 1906 and is a vegetable market frequented by area citizens. Decommissioned and vacant in 1988, the building was renovated and reopened in 1991.
