[Cheung Chau, Hong Kong] Capture the Most Orange Sunset at West Beach + One-Person Bossy Coffee Shop

There are several spots on Cheung Chau Island where you can catch the enchanting sunset views. This time, we head west all the way, starting from getting off the boat, turning right at the pier, passing through Cheung Chau Market, and walking along the coastline westward, entering West Beach Road. This is a straight walking path, with the sun shining on you along the way. The best time to catch the sunset 🌅 varies by season: November to March: around 17:30 April to October: around 18:15-18:35 I usually arrive 15 minutes early; sometimes earlier, but rarely late. It’s best to check the Observatory’s sunset time on the day. At the end of West Beach Road, there is a heimaheima coffee shop. The owner works alone, one person running the shop and one cooking, and they open whenever they want, mainly on weekends and public holidays, offering hand-brewed coffee, cakes, and light meals.
