The best meal at staycation

The weather was very good on the second day after arriving at the hotel. It was a great enjoyment in a lifetime to have a meal in the restaurant on the 41st floor while enjoying the view of Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour with blue sky and white clouds. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. This package includes a set lunch at the restaurant. It costs 660 yuan per person for three meals and one night's accommodation, which is totally worth it! Location: On the 41st floor of Harbour Plaza Hong Kong, on the right hand side of the check-in counter. Environment: The restaurant makes good use of the external environment. It is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows and seats for four are placed at the side windows. As you enter the restaurant, you will see a silver tunnel. There are high chairs by the windows and a bar counter in the middle. We were arranged in the middle seat and felt surrounded by the view of Victoria Harbour. How happy! Service: The waiters are very friendly and willing to help customers take photos. I guess they are used to it! The closing time was very fast and the tableware was replaced with new ones. Lunch: Appetizer: French bread basket with three kinds of butter, original, herb and olive, but I don’t like the hard texture of bread, so I only ate half of it. Scallops with avocado sauce, kiwi fruit and salmon roe It was served on a large round plate, but the portion was small. I know it was just an appetizer, so it was normal. In fact, the taste was first-rate, especially the salmon roe, which was very fresh and sweet. It would have been better if there was more. Soup of the day: Pumpkin cream soup with two crispy garlic buns Garlic buns are better than French bread. They are baked until crispy and softened after being dipped in pumpkin soup. Main course: Pan-seared pike perch with orange sauce and French mace This is what I ordered because I saw a special ingredient - French wheat rice, plus it was served with orange sauce, which sounded like a refreshing and pleasant dish. The sea bass was cooked to perfection, with the skin fried to a crisp, while the meat remained smooth and easy to pull apart, without any fishy smell. I really liked the orange sauce, which tasted very fresh and pleasant, and the French wheat on the bottom was very chewy and tasted better than rice! Red wine braised American beef cheek with mashed potatoes This was ordered by a friend. I took a bite of the beef and found it very soft. Although it didn't melt in your mouth, you could still taste the rich beef flavor and soft texture as soon as you put it in your mouth. Roasted French Spring Chicken with Onions, Potatoes and Chicken Asparagus My friend gave me a small portion of chicken, the sauce was rich and the chicken was tender, not bad! All three main dishes were of excellent quality. Dessert: Special mango passion fruit I really like this dessert. It tastes a little sour but not greasy at all.
