To welcome the arrival of the Lunar New Year, Harbour City has specially created the 'Colorful Lion Dance @ Harbour City' Lunar New Year decorations with the Chinese lucky number 8, symbolizing prosperity, and festive colors! 18 festive lion heads are open for everyone to touch from head to tail, bringing New Year blessings. This year, Harbour City collaborates with 'Lion King Wuyong' brand by Jiang Wei Chi (San Jiang), the head of Jiang's Golden Dragon Lion Dance Troupe, and renowned feng shui expert Dr. Lee Shing Chak to bring the festive 'Colorful Lion Dance @ Harbour City' Lunar New Year decorations from January 11 to February 16, 2025. The 28-meter-long 'Hundred Colorful Lion Gallery' at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt showcases 13 traditional Chinese drums and 18 lion heads, symbolizing 'prosperity for life,' wishing for thriving businesses in all industries. San Jiang specially created 18 lion heads in different colors, each carrying unique New Year blessings, such as 'soaring to great heights,' 'instant success,' and 'smooth sailing.' The gallery also features 8 flat drums and 5 standing drums, with 6 'special' flat drums paired with different colors and blessings like 'prosperity,' 'good fortune,' 'great success,' 'peach blossom luck,' 'wisdom,' and 'wealth.' Touch the lion heads for good luck and beat the drums to bring in New Year fortune. The colorful light panels on top of the 'Hundred Colorful Lion Gallery' reflect different colors under the sunlight, wishing everyone a brilliant new year! Additionally, the main entrance of the Ocean Terminal is adorned with joyful and festive decorations. The 'Joyful Fortune Stairs' are decorated with a large, colorful '8' lucky totem, and two 3-meter-high giant yellow and green lion heads greet everyone at the entrance, symbolizing smooth sailing and success.
