Hong Kong Hiking Route: Easy 2-Hour Walk for Beginners

Transportation: Take bus 73K from Sheung Shui Train Station and get off at Fu Tei Au Public Toilet. However, the 73K bus runs infrequently, with intervals of 15-30 minutes. Route: The first peak you will reach is Shan Shan. Start from the Fu Tei Au Public Toilet, cross the road and begin the ascent. The initial section is flat and shaded by trees on both sides. Looking to the right, you can enjoy the scenery of the Ng Tung River area. The descent from Shan Shan to Wah Shan is quite steep, with large patches of golden Miscanthus grass along the way, making for beautiful backlit photos! The Wah Shan hiking route can be completed in about 2 hours. Although there are some ups and downs along the way, it requires a certain level of physical fitness, but beginners can easily complete it at a slow pace. A must-visit for newcomers!
