Since opening in back in 2016, Samsen has gained droves of loyal fans and a stellar reputation for serving up some of the best Thai fare in Hong Kong, especially when it comes to those legendary boat noodles and pad thai. To avoid the always-long queue, I went to the branch in Sheung Wan, which is still with distressed concrete interior but significantly larger. I ordered the pad Thai and Thai tea, and seated right in front of the chefs.
