🍜 Yau Ma Tei specialty stone pot rice noodle shop Do colorful neon tubes remind you of something? What comes to my mind is the color of Hong Kong. Xiao Cao Shi Baguai in Yau Ma Tei combines traditional and creative Hong Kong-style steamed rice and stone pot rice noodles, as well as a series of snacks and skewers. The prices are affordable, making it a restaurant with a very high CP value in the area and a good place for my late-night snack. 🐟 Spicy Sichuan Peppercorn Crispy Fish Skin $42 The crispy cold fish skin has the aroma and numbing sensation brought by Sichuan peppercorns, and is rich in layers. It is a good choice as an appetizer. 🍜 Optional stone pot rice noodles (satay soup) from $32 There are 8 soup bases to choose from in the store, including the rare Bak Kut Teh soup base. Personally, I prefer the richer satay soup with a lot of gravy. The aroma of peanuts with a hint of spiciness is very tasty. 🍚 Steamed chicken with cotton fish maw, cordyceps and lotus leaf rice $62 The lotus leaf rice in cage is definitely a righteous choice, and the portion is generous.
