You can take the Central to Mid-Levels escalator, return to the road at Castle Road, and then walk for another 3 minutes to arrive. If you take public transportation, there are minibuses 8, 10, 22, 28 and buses 12, 13, 103. I took bus No. 12 from Exit D of Hong Kong MTR Station, transferred to the bus terminal at Exchange Square, and got off at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. It took about 15 minutes. ▶️Little knowledge about Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall was originally the residence of Ho Kam Tong, the younger brother of Hong Kong tycoon Robert Ho Tung. It was built in 1914 and has a history of over a hundred years. After Ho Kam Tong died here in 1950, the mansion changed hands several times before it was finally purchased by the government and reopened as a memorial hall in 2006. Kom Tong Terrace was declared a statutory monument in Hong Kong in 2010. Fortunately, the building is still well preserved and still retains its former splendor. ▶️LG and entrance The diamond-shaped floor on the lowest floor of the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall has a very retro feel! Starting from the entrance, photos related to Sun Yat-sen are on display. ▶️Meizi Ladder The staircase connecting LG to UG is actually the "maid's staircase" of the time, which was only used by servants. Members of the Ho family would take the more glamorous main staircase which will be introduced below. ▶️Main staircase The wide main staircase is made of teak and was used by members of the He family at that time. In addition to placing the plants in pots, each level also has tools to fix the red carpet, which takes a lot of effort. The windows are also very delicate, giving a church feel.
