Béthanie is a historical building complex in Pok Fu Lam, Southern District of Hong Kong. It was built in 1875⛪️ and was established as a sanatorium by the Missions Etrangeres de Paris (French: Missions Etrangeres de Paris). Bethany Chapel and the nearby cowshed were allocated to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2003. After a series of renovations, the complex reopened in 2006 and is now used by the Academy's School of Film and Television. In addition to educational facilities, it also includes two performance venues, exhibition halls, a church and a museum. It was declared a monument in 2013 🧱 Bethany Chapel is one of the few examples of French colonial architecture in the city.
