Causeway Bay Retro Library Themed Restaurant

Since the World Trade Centre in Causeway Bay was renovated, we've noticed quite a few new restaurants. Among them, the most attractive one to me is the Bochord restaurant, themed after a retro library, because both 'retro' and 'library' are things we've always liked. The restaurant's environment is designed with a retro elegance, making it feel luxurious and splendid. The neatly arranged books create a layered beauty that really adds points in my book, and with the floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering a full view of the Victoria Harbour, how could I miss such a beautiful scene? Many people don't know that 'Bochord' in ancient times could be interpreted as a book collection room or library. The restaurant uses walnut wood as the main tone, with shelves filled with hundreds of classic books for decoration, complemented by dark green genuine leather sofas, retro pleated lamps, etc. The soft yellow lighting creates a very comfortable atmosphere, making it a touching and relaxing experience. As for the food: Appetiser 🌟Charcoal Grilled Tiger Prawns The tiger prawns are very bouncy and fresh, and with the sour and sweet pineapple, it's very appetizing. 🌟Spanish Iberico Pork Ham The Parma ham with the sweetness of two types of melon is a perfect match, as the ham is salty, but the melon is very sweet and juicy, making for an excellent starter that increases the appetite. Soup 🌟Swiss Barley Soup With ingredients like beef, carrots, mushrooms, etc., this soup is like a vegetable soup with a rich texture, but I feel that the Lobster Bisque is more outstanding. 🌟Lobster Bisque This Lobster Bisque is very rich, with a crispy crust and a moderate taste, not too salty, and my brother really can't stop praising it. Main Course 🌟Charcoal Grilled Russia Black Angus Beef Bone-in Short Loin The Angus short loin is grilled just right, with a nice mustard flavor, but I don't really like the sauce it comes with, it seems out of place. 🌟52-degree Chilean White Cod Fish Fillet The cod fish fillet is very firm, and pan-frying it in Western style brings out the best flavor, which is quite refreshing.
