Pay attention to the network signal, in some sense, the Octopus card is much better, recommended! HK subway handrails and escalators move incredibly fast! If you have large luggage, sisters, please use the elevator🛗 instead of the escalator, it's dangerous! The subway is very stable, much more so than Shanghai's! But it can be a headache to find the entrance, and you must look at the signs, don't go the wrong way, otherwise, you'll end up going in circles and it will be a headache. Most buildings in Hong Kong are the type that are very tall above ground and then dig down three levels, so when the map tells you to go this way but there's no road in front of you, consider finding a nearby underground passage There are a lot of people, and toilets are really hard to find, you can look for big KFC or McDonald's. Lastly, if you can avoid going to West Kowloon, do so It took me a full half hour just to get out, and then another 20 minutes to find the Austin MTR station.
