Happy Gathering Semi-Buffet @Pierside

The market is really lively as Christmas and New Year's Day approach. I was not to be outdone and made an appointment with my friends last week to go to the Christmas market for a night, and then happily went to a buffet to celebrate Christmas early. This evening, I went to the Christmas car trunk eco-market in China Hong Kong City with my friends, and then of course, we found a restaurant that was the most convenient to fill our stomachs. Next to the market is the Royal Pacific Hotel. Our group of 10 people went to Pierside for a Semi Buffet and it was simply perfect. How can there be good food without good wine! If you are a wine lover like me, you can order 2 hours of unlimited drinks, which includes selected sparkling wine, red and white wine, juice and soda for only $138 per person. If you just want to taste it, you can choose to enjoy a glass of selected wine at half price. This discount allows everyone to spend a tipsy evening. Of course, the semi-buffet will include buffet appetizers, salads, desserts and other delicious foods! Let’s start by introducing this night’s delicacies to you from this gingerbread house. The soup for today's meal was mushroom cream soup and just by looking at the appearance you could tell it was very filling and rich. Then there is my favorite salad dish, which has several different types to choose from. With side dishes such as Cold Cut and smoked salmon and added to the sauce, everyone can build their own unique and delicious salad. If you don’t want to think too much, just choose a ready-made salad! The choices include spicy sausage salad, pasta salad with crab sticks, roast chicken salad and organic quinoa kale salad. The two appetizers, crab meat and pumpkin pudding and whelk meat, are also very attractive. There are fresh cut fruits in the dessert area, and just seeing the pineapple makes me satisfied. There are also very authentic jelly, festive Christmas butter cake, colorful coconut milk taro cake, mini Portuguese tarts, chocolate tarts and chocolate brownies. After showing everyone around, it’s time for our meal! The fragrant buns spread with butter are always so attractive, and the mushroom cream soup is so rich in mushroom flavor and delicious that I drank two bowls. First, try the self-assembled appetizer salad to whet your appetite! The salad was so fresh and had my favorite Thousand Island dressing, and I ate three rounds of my favorite snail meat, which was crazy. Of course, Mr. Che’s main course was his favorite steak! This dish of grilled steak with garden vegetables (extra $60) is quite a large portion, and it also comes with roasted potatoes, which is very rich. As soon as I saw the menu today had penne with spicy tomato sauce and white mushrooms, I immediately fell in love! The al dente penne is delicious with the sour and fragrant tomato sauce, but I would like it more if it was a little spicier. Finally, I took out a big plate of dessert and happily shared it with the car dad! The Chocolate Brownie is my favorite among them, but my favorite pineapple will always come first, haha. When I left after having a full meal, I was attracted by the hotel’s environmentally friendly Christmas tree! I really appreciate the hotel's environmental awareness of using recycled materials to build this dazzling Christmas tree. The semi-buffet is priced at $338 per person for adults and $288 per person for children from Monday to Thursday, and only $30 more per person from Friday to Sunday and public holidays. Those with smaller appetites can choose the buffet without the main course for only $268 per person. Reservations made on the official website can enjoy a 10% discount. The price is really attractive and the CP value is high! You can go to the market and then have a buffet without worrying about holiday activities.
