A landmark park in the heart of Yuen Long

Yuen Long Park, managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, is the largest park in the centre of Yuen Long. It has convenient transportation and can be reached by light rail or multiple bus routes. Earlier, due to work reasons, I went to the park to kill time during lunch time. The most eye-catching thing about the park is a large green lawn. Many citizens have picnics on the grass slope, which is very picturesque. Moreover, you can see the several-storey aviary from afar. It is located in the center of the top of the park and is very prominent. However, please pay attention to the opening hours of the aviary to avoid wasting your trip. Although there are not many species of birds in the tower, you can get a panoramic view of the area around Yuen Long from the top of the tower, which is a nice feeling. Other facilities include a 13-meter-high waterfall, an artificial lake, a butterfly pavilion, etc., which are all great places to check in. The entire park is quite large, and there is also a football field and an exhibition room. It is recommended to reserve half a day to slowly visit.
