What to eat in the upstairs restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui? This time I went to Houfu Street to look for food and went to a store located upstairs in the Lanma Commercial Center. It had only been open for a few days 😝. The environment is decorated in a wooden izakaya style, with several special booths. The food is mainly skewers, and there is also sake to mix with it 🙈. - ▪︎Iced mixed vegetable noodles HKD$68 It’s quite special to serve it in a tall cup. The food includes white radish, cucumber, turnip and okra. The spicy sauce is heated, so it tastes quite fragrant😝. The frozen mixed vegetables are crispy and delicious with hot sauce. - ▪︎Skewer HKD$26/skewer There are many choices of skewers. We ordered a few of them, including lantern, chicken skin, chicken neck, chicken diaphragm, white eel, homemade tofu and goose intestines. It is cooked to order and is served hot and spicy, with each type using different seasonings. After placing the order, the waiter gave us two kinds of sauces, which were homemade and felt special 😚. . The white eel has crispy skin and tender meat, and has a strong oily flavor, which is perfect when mixed with wine! What felt quite special this time was the lantern, as I had heard about it a lot but had never tried it🤔. It turned out to be the oviduct of a chicken, mixed with immature eggs, and it had a crispy and bursting texture 😝. - ▪︎Razor clams HKD$88/each I ordered seasonal seafood and simply seasoned it with minced garlic, which tasted quite fragrant😚.
