Check in at the Hong Kong Museum of Art

#Greater Bay Area Attractions Founded in 1962, the Hong Kong Museum of Art is the first public art museum in Hong Kong, housing more than 18,800 art treasures. In its curatorial work, the museum compares ancient and modern times, East and West, local and even international art, interpreting the diverse world of art. It hopes to provide a new angle to appreciate tradition from a Hong Kong perspective, open up new experiences and cultural cultivation, and connect art to life. The Hong Kong Museum of Art underwent a major renovation and expansion project in 2015 and reopened in 2019. The expanded Hong Kong Museum of Art, with its modern architectural design, has become one of Hong Kong's cultural landmarks and popular tourist attractions. It was also selected by The Art Newspaper as one of the world's 100 most popular art museums in 2021. There are floor-to-ceiling glass windows on each floor of the art gallery, so that visitors can enjoy the Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong's iconic "artwork", while appreciating the collections. The art gallery is now open to the public free of charge, and it is right next to the Avenue of Stars. The scenery is great, so remember to check in and take photos.
