Hiking in the rain - Peak Garden

Today is the July 1st public holiday in Hong Kong and there are many celebrations. We did not join in the fun and instead planned to hike to the Peak Gardens. It was raining when we set out, so we brought a raincoat and an umbrella, but it didn't affect our plans. The Peak Gardens is located on Mount Austin Road, Victoria Peak, Hong Kong Island. The original site was the peak villa of the Governor of the British Hong Kong government, and later developed into the Peak Gardens. We walked up the mountain from Bonham Road along Kedun Road, passing the morning exercise trail of Lung Fu Shan Country Park. The child is less than two years old and followed us hiking, enjoying a new experience of hiking in the rain. Running on the road in a raincoat, playing with rain water and leaves, having a lot of fun! I have been hiking for four years. Today I walked completely by myself, without my parents carrying me. I walked up the steps from the mountainside to the garden on the top of the mountain, also walking by myself. Along the way, we saw big spiders, bright flowers, and dancing butterflies. The air was fresh and I felt relaxed. Climbing to the garden on the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the sea of ​​clouds and fog, which is like a fairyland. The rain stopped, the sky cleared, and the fog dissipated. From afar, you can see Pok Fu Lam Reservoir, Lamma Island, and even Lantau Island. The mountaintop garden is a great place for a picnic. The central flowerbed is a geometric pattern made of flowers and plants. It is a great place to take wedding photos and can be seen almost every time. Even though it rained today, I still saw a couple taking sweet wedding photos. After having enough fun in the Peak Garden, we went down to the Peak Tower on Taiping Mountain.
