Cream-colored Bethany Chapel

Bethany Chapel is located on Pok Fu Lam Road. It is a neo-Gothic church with a history of more than 130 years. It was once used as a sanatorium for missionaries and now it has become the campus of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. The chapel is not open to the public, but you can take photos outside. Under normal circumstances, you can report the tour group online and enter the interior for a visit. The chapel is not large in area, but every brick and tile is designed with great care and is well maintained. Please note that the main entrance of the chapel is not open, and you need to go through the Chinese Culinary Institute to enter. In addition, the chapel can also be rented out for weddings, and no religious beliefs are required. It is recommended to go there around 4pm, when the sun shines obliquely and you can take some nice shadow photos. Cross the road from the main entrance of Bethany Chapel and you will see University Hall, the dormitory of HKU. It is also a classical historical building and you can stop by to take photos.
