A must-visit family hotel, Ocean Park Marriott’s queue-free reservation guide!

🥳This time, Shawn and everyone will test out the Ocean Park Marriott, a popular family hotel for holiday stays but with mixed reviews, and discuss tips for staying there with everyone! This time we booked the hotel through the official website. As we all know, the swimming pool is the selling point of Ocean Park Marriott. Since the opening of the swimming pool, the room price has increased a lot, especially during the summer vacation, which is the peak season for family hotels. With the opening of the amusement park, there are basically crowds of people every day. Due to the epidemic, the number of people in the swimming pool is limited and the leisure pool is still closed. The hotel stipulates that reservations can only be made after checking in. Only one session can be reserved on holidays. There is often a shortage of supply, and many guests are unable to enjoy the swimming pool facilities. Even though the number of people is relaxed now, it is still recommended that everyone must check in early❗️ 🧐The ideal time is from 10am to 12pm. There are not many people queuing to check in. It doesn't matter if the room is not ready. You can go to the reservation station in person to make a reservation with your room card holder. We checked in at 12 noon that day and were able to make an appointment for 4-5pm. At that time, a small number of swimmers from the previous session managed to walk in, but I still felt it was too risky to avoid disappointing the children who had already changed into their swimsuits. It was better to make an appointment in advance. If you check in early but don’t have a room, what can you do next? I suggest you go to the Ocean Park or eat at a restaurant while waiting. We highly recommend booking an executive floor room. First of all, there is an exclusive check-in counter in the lobby of the club wing floor. You can avoid the long queue by checking in at the lobby. You can also choose to check in at the club wing, which is the lounge. You can sit, eat, and wait while you are thirsty. Time passes quickly and rooms are available at 2 o'clock on the same day. Ordinary club rooms already have large bathtubs, which are so big that I believe every child will scream "wow" when entering the room. Even if you can't make a reservation for the swimming pool or it's affected by rain, you can still play in the water in the room! The Executive Lounge floor includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening snacks. Although there are not many choices, you have to allocate time for eating. The breakfast and evening time periods are limited to 45 minutes and 1 hour respectively, but the taste is very good and it is definitely enough to fill you up. You don’t have to worry about three meals 😁 🧸The newly opened Playroom is not big, and the game carpet on the ground is very comfortable. Children can run wild and there may be friction, especially for younger children. Parents must be careful to protect them. The facilities in the venue are more suitable for children aged three to six. So Shawn had a lot of fun, walked in once, and made an appointment to play again. 🕒️Playroom reservation guide: you must have a room number to make a reservation. It is open from 8am to 9pm every day, with a maximum of 21 people. Each room can only be reserved once per night. On holidays, there are usually vacancies the next morning. We made a reservation for the 10am-11am period and chose to walk in on the day of check-in. As long as you wait outside on time, you can usually enter. In terms of activities, in addition to swimming and playroom, you can enjoy the outdoor "Summer Carnival" carnival 🎳🎁, which will be open for four consecutive months. The hotel is divided into different areas outdoors, with photography and decoration, and multiple stall games suitable for children of different ages and parents to participate, such as duck shooting, bottle entering🏀, curling🥌, trampoline, etc. There is also a mini driving track where you can play children's electric cars. ⚠️Note that you need to buy the specified tokens to participate in the game, but the track is too short, which feels a bit cheating🤣 But the children still had a lot of fun and it was worth the money. Opening hours are from 12 noon to 6 pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 10 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 6 pm from Friday to Sunday and public holidays. A few words about dining 🍽. The hotel has multiple restaurants. Chinese, Western, buffet, and steakhouse are all very popular. Remember to make reservations in advance. Because we had a $2000 dining coupon (not included in package) that day, the choices were limited, so we chose Pier Lounge for dinner and lunch the next day. We ordered set meals for both meals. There were many choices for children's meals, including staple foods, desserts, drinks and ice cream. The seafood food was outstanding, and the meat was tender and fresh! The children also received a toy whale🐳, which they could play with in the big bathtub in the room, which was very fun😚 In summary, this staycation experience was very good. The bed in the room was very comfortable. I hope that late check-out at 12 o'clock can be arranged, and the playroom and swimming pool can be booked smoothly.
