A Yakiniku Restaurant in Furano with a 4.5 Rating - Marumasu (まるます)

A Foodie's Day in Hokkaido! For lunch, we dined at Marumasu (まるます), a highly-rated yakiniku restaurant in Kamifurano with a Google rating of 4.5. The restaurant opens at 11:00 AM, but we arrived at 10:40 AM to find one group already waiting in line. When the doors opened at 11:00 AM, we were seated in the adjacent building since we didn’t have a reservation. Within half an hour, the entire restaurant was fully booked. We ordered a mixed platter set meal, two large prawns, two scallops, and a vegetable platter, totaling 4,390 yen. As expected from a renowned restaurant, the food was delicious. After lunch, we went to a supermarket and bought Saga chestnut pumpkins, Hokkaido corn, and pork ribs, along with carrots and onions, to make pumpkin milk soup. We also purchased two snow crabs, eight large prawns, and miso-marinated beef intestines, spending a total of 6,131 yen. Additionally, we visited a local market and bought a Furano melon for 1,000 yen.
