Autumn leaves are coming soon! If you’re planning to visit Hokkaido during October-November, don’t forget to stop by these breathtaking spots. The scenery is so stunning, it’ll take your breath away 🍁🍂🌈 📌 Location: Biei Blue Pond, Shirahige Waterfall How to get there: From Asahikawa Station, take bus line 39 directly to the destination. Alternatively, if you have a JR Pass, you can take the Furano Line local train to Biei Station and then transfer to the same bus line 39. This option saves on transportation costs and lets you enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage views along the way. Since there are limited bus schedules each day, it’s recommended to start your journey early in the morning. Once you arrive at Blue Pond, take some photos and then walk to Shirahige Waterfall. The distance is about 3 kilometers, perfect for a leisurely stroll in the chilly weather—it’s not tiring at all 😂. For the return trip, you can catch the bus from the waterfall stop back to Asahikawa. (If you choose not to walk, you’ll have to wait a long time for the bus, and the return trip will likely be on the last bus of the day, which means spending the entire day at the location.)
