Lanterns and architecture

Hoi An Old Town lights up at night with vibrant and colourful lanterns. You can explore the alleyways and streets and see them all around you. This is a permanent thing not just for Lunar New Year. With the river being so close by, you'll often see boats sending lanterns out on the tide, or people writing wishes and sending them afloat. I love the architecture here, with buildings full of character, lots of Asian characteristics, and a good sense of tradition. Tons of F&B available and no international chains at all which is great.
