The magic of Hoi An! ✨

Hoi An is one of my favourite places to visit in Asia! It’s honestly one place I wouldn’t mind going back to over and over again. I visited for the first time in 2015 and for the second time now a few months ago. This was also one of the first international trips I took post COVID, I have to admit, it was way more crowded this time especially Old Town. I’ve listed down a rough itinerary while in Hoi An. Where to stay: 1) Maison Vy Hotel - This hotel deserves an entire post on its own. I’ve never met hotel staff who are so kind and willing to go above and beyond to make customers as comfortable as possible. Where to eat: 1. Madam Kieu for delicious food overlooking Old town 2. Roving Chill House for lunch in the paddy fields 3. The Deckhouse An Bang Beach for fresh seafood and cocktails by the beach 4. Market Bar Hoi An for sunset drinks 5. 93 Station restaurant & cafe for coffee with a view of Old town from above 6. Spice Viet Restaurant for local Vietnamese food 7. Banh Mi Phuong for the best Banh Mi in town! This was recommended by the great Anthony Bourdain What to do: 1. Don’t miss the bucket boat ride which Hoi An is famous for 2. Shop for leather goods and other handcrafted items at Old town market 3. Get a custom suit or outfit stitched in Old town (ask your hotel to recommend a few tailors) 4.
